On August 9, 2025, at Thu Duc Metro Station, the Thu Duc Ward People’s Committee and Ho Chi Minh City Urban Railway Line 1 Company Limited (HURC1) signed a cooperation agreement aimed at promoting cultural, tourism, and commercial–service activities at stations along Metro Line 1.

The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Dang Minh Thong, Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Mr. Le Van Minh, Deputy Head of the City Party Committee’s Commission for Propaganda and Mass Mobilization; Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Trinh, Chairwoman of the Thu Duc Ward People’s Committee; and Mr. Le Minh Triet, Director of HURC1.

As part of the event, the first Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space at Thu Duc Metro Station was officially inaugurated, offering residents and visitors a new destination that blends modern transportation with distinctive cultural values. Notably, the reception robot provided by Pan Robotics made its appearance at the venue, quickly becoming a focal point for delegates and attendees.

With its ability to greet guests, interact naturally, and provide clear, visual information, the reception robot delivered a modern technological experience, helping highlight the professionalism of the event and bringing a refreshing, innovative touch to a traditionally cultural setting.

This cooperation event not only marks an important milestone as Metro Line 1 prepares for operation, but also sets the vision for transforming metro stations into multifunctional spaces—serving simultaneously as transit points and as cultural, educational, and tourism hubs. The presence of the reception robot serves as a clear demonstration of the growing trend of integrating technology into public services, paving the way for new approaches to enhancing the experience of residents and visitors throughout the city.
