PAN at the Vietnam Infection Control Conference 2026
On October 2–3, 2026, the 3rd Scientific Conference of the Vietnam Infection Control Society was held in Da Lat under the theme “Transforming Healthcare Through Infection Control Excellence.”
The conference brought together nearly 600 delegates and featured 93 scientific presentations covering key areas of infection control, including instrument processing, healthcare-associated infection surveillance, hand hygiene, environmental control, digital transformation and the application of AI in infection control and CSSD.
As a platform connecting professional expertise, technology and practical solutions, the event provided PAN with an opportunity to engage with experts, healthcare managers and representatives from healthcare facilities to gain a deeper understanding of the evolving requirements of infection control and hospital operations.
Infection Control as Part of Hospital Operations
In healthcare environments, infection control does not exist within a single process or department. It is connected to multiple operational activities, from instrument processing, environmental hygiene and textile management to internal transportation and the organization of movement flows throughout healthcare facilities.
As patient safety requirements continue to rise, standardizing each operational link becomes increasingly important in reducing risks and improving the quality of healthcare services.
This is also where technology and specialized equipment can provide valuable support, helping healthcare facilities gradually improve operational efficiency and better control potential risk points throughout their processes.
From Healthcare Textiles to Standardized Laundry Processes
Healthcare textiles are an essential part of hospital operations. From collection, sorting and transportation to washing, drying, finishing and distribution, each stage needs to be organized appropriately to meet infection control requirements.
Investing in a suitable industrial laundry system is not only about processing capacity. It should also be considered as part of the overall operational process, helping healthcare facilities better manage the flow of soiled and clean textiles and maintain textile quality before reuse.
With experience in Industrial Laundry Solutions, PAN aims to provide solutions and equipment that match the practical requirements of each healthcare facility, from operational scale and capacity to process organization.
Automation Opens New Possibilities for Healthcare Operations
Alongside solutions for processing and cleaning, automation is also creating new approaches to hospital operations.
Internal transportation is one of the activities that takes place continuously, involving medicines, medical supplies, laboratory samples, goods and various materials that need to move between different areas of a healthcare facility.
Autonomous internal transportation robots can be integrated into suitable workflows to perform repetitive transportation tasks along predefined routes. This provides hospitals with an additional tool to support standardized internal logistics, optimize resources and reduce unnecessary movement by staff.
This is also one of the key applications of Robotics & Automation that PAN is developing for the healthcare sector.
Technology Does Not Replace Processes – It Helps Make Them Better
Healthcare transformation is not simply about introducing more technology into hospitals. Technology creates real value when solutions are selected based on practical needs and appropriately integrated into existing operational processes.
This is particularly important in infection control. Effective equipment needs to work alongside proper procedures, while an automation solution needs to be integrated into a well-organized operational system.
Therefore, the growing focus on digital transformation, AI and technology at the Vietnam Infection Control Conference 2026 reflects not only technological development, but also the increasing need for a modern healthcare model in which people, processes and technology work together.
PAN – Connecting Technology with Real Healthcare Needs
For PAN, participating in the Vietnam Infection Control Conference 2026 was more than an opportunity to be present at a specialized industry event. It was also an opportunity to listen to practical challenges from healthcare facilities and gain a deeper understanding of the evolving requirements of hospital operations.
From industrial laundry and professional cleaning solutions to Robotics & Automation, PAN continues to focus on developing solutions tailored to specific operational needs, supporting healthcare facilities in improving efficiency, standardizing processes and adopting technology in a practical and sustainable way.
The connection between infection control expertise and technology also creates opportunities for technical solutions to be viewed not simply as equipment, but as part of a broader operational system designed around patient safety and healthcare quality.
Continuing to Support Healthcare Transformation
The Vietnam Infection Control Conference 2026 concluded after two days of professional exchange and connection. However, the discussions highlighted a clear direction: infection control is becoming increasingly connected with operational quality, technology and the continuous improvement of healthcare facilities.
For PAN, this is also an important motivation to continue connecting professional expertise with practical solutions, bringing technology closer to the specific needs of the healthcare sector and supporting healthcare facilities on their journey toward safer, more efficient and sustainable operations.
