After a long holiday break (such as the Lunar New Year), industrial laundry systems often encounter "unforeseen ailments" if they are not restarted correctly. Recognizing these faults early allows businesses to take proactive measures, preventing further damage to expensive equipment.

1. Control Board and Sensor Failures Due to Humidity

During downtime, moisture in the air can accumulate, causing electrical short circuits or damaging sensitive sensors.

• Symptoms: The control screen displays unusual Error Codes, the machine refuses to start, or it shuts down mid-cycle.

• Solution: Do not attempt to restart repeatedly. Use a specialized dryer to dry the electrical panel area before switching on the power.

2. Clogged Drain Pumps and Inlet Valves

Sediment, lint, or minerals in the water can settle and harden the rubber components inside the valves.

• Symptoms: The machine fills with water very slowly, the water overflows without stopping, or the machine fails to drain, triggering a "Drain Error."

• Solution: Inspect and clean the inlet filters; check the drain pump impeller for debris or scale buildup.

3. Drive Belt Damage and Bearing Wear

Belts left in one position for too long can become brittle, cracked, or deformed. Similarly, the lubricant in the bearings can dry out or harden.

• Symptoms: The machine emits a high-pitched squealing sound when the drum rotates, or there is more intense vibration than usual.

• Solution: Check the belt tension and apply specialized lubricant to the transmission points.

4. Water Leaks Due to Dry Door Gaskets

If industrial washer door gaskets are not regularly exposed to moisture, they can dry out, crack, or lose their elasticity.

• Symptoms: Water leaks directly from the door during operation.

• Solution: Thoroughly clean the door gasket with a soft, damp cloth. If cracks are found, replace the gasket immediately to prevent water and chemical loss.

5. Dosing System Failures

Chemicals remaining in the supply lines for a long period can dry out, causing complete blockages or damaging the dosing pump membranes.

• Symptoms: Laundry comes out dirty; the machine alerts that chemicals are not being dispensed.

• Solution: Flush the supply lines with warm water before officially resuming operations.
